Meta One creator plans: what's in each one and what it costs

Meta One creator plans add professional tools to an Instagram account: a link page, native links in posts, scheduling and shared access. Here's what each of the four tiers costs and includes.

Meta One creator plans are four paid plans that add professional tools to an Instagram account: Essential at $14.99 a month, Advanced at $49.99, Expert at $149 and Max at $499. They are rolling out gradually around the world, and pricing may vary by region, by app and by account.

Instagram itself is free, and it stays free. What a plan buys is the work around the posting: a link page, native links inside posts and reels, scheduling, deeper insights, shared access and faster support. Here's what sits in each tier, and how we'd decide whether any of it earns the money.

What are Meta One creator plans?

Meta One is a subscription service that runs across Meta's apps, and the creator plans are the Instagram-facing part of it. Each step up adds more professional tools for establishing your presence, planning and publishing your content, and getting deeper insight into what's working.

Every creator plan also carries the three single product plans, Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus, along with expanded Meta AI usage. So even the cheapest tier is a bundle rather than one feature.

One detail we'd flag before you budget: plans are priced per profile, so a plan covers one account. If you create on both Instagram and Facebook, that's a plan for each.

Pick the lowest step that removes your biggest weekly chore.

What do you get on the Essential plan?

Essential is $14.99 a month, and it is mostly about being findable and being believed.

  • Link page: a sharable page that makes it easier for people to find your website, social channels and other key destinations directly from your profile. You can share up to 20 links, add images and custom text, and you get a unique URL to use outside Instagram.
  • Verified badge: once you're verified, the badge sits on your profile so new audiences feel more confident engaging with you.
  • Impersonation protection: once you're verified, Instagram proactively monitors for profiles that pretend to be you.
  • All three single product plans, plus expanded Meta AI usage that includes image and video generation.

Verification is not required to use the professional tools a subscription opens up across the apps. Only the verified badge and impersonation protection need it, so an account that has never applied for verification still gets the link page and everything else in the tier.

What does the Advanced plan add?

Advanced is $49.99 a month and includes everything in Essential. This is the tier where the tools stop being about how you look and start saving you hours.

  • Links in posts and reels: native links inside your posts and reels, so people can go straight to your website, shop or latest drop instead of hunting through your bio or your DMs. You can add links to 4 posts and 4 reels per month.
  • Advanced content scheduling: schedule stories up to a month in advance, and posts and reels up to a year in advance, up from 30 days. You also get suggested times based on when your followers are most active, bulk upload on instagram.com, and a preview of scheduled content on your grid.
  • Competitive insights: compare your performance with other public accounts in your space in a single dashboard.
  • Extended insights history: data about your content and audience beyond 90 days, downloadable as a CSV file.
  • Shared access: give 4 people you trust access to create, post and schedule, without handing over your password.
  • Support from a real person: one human support case per month, reached through the Meta AI support assistant, covering your Instagram and associated Threads account.
  • Optimised search: appear ahead in search results, making it easier for people to find your profile.

For a small seller, the two we'd weigh hardest are links in posts and reels, and shared access. Four linked posts and four linked reels a month is not many, so we'd save them for the drops that genuinely need a direct route rather than spending them on a Tuesday.

If your products already sit in a catalog, there is a free route to a similar job. Our post on shoppable reels covers tagging products in a reel.

We'd point the four linked reels at whatever you are actually selling.

What do the Expert and Max plans add?

Expert is $149 a month and Max is $499 a month. Both include everything in Advanced, plus the highest levels of feature access for links in posts and reels, shared access, Meta AI usage and support. Starting at the Expert plan, you can also request a call with a real person for support.

We'd read these two as team plans. If one person is filming, editing and replying to everything, the ceiling you hit first is your own week, not a limit on your plan.

Are Meta One creator plans available in India?

The creator plans are rolling out gradually and globally, and Meta One plans are available globally. India is not called out on its own, and no rupee pricing has been published, so the figures above are the US dollar ones.

Beyond that, plans, benefits, pricing and availability may vary by region, by app and by account. That makes the only reliable check the one on your own phone: start the subscription process from your account and you'll see the specific features available to you.

Is a Meta One plan worth it for a small seller?

This part is our opinion rather than a rule. We'd start by writing down the one job you want done, then checking whether something free already does it.

  1. If people can't find your site, the link page is the cheapest tier doing the thing it is best at. Twenty destinations from one profile tap is a real fix.
  2. If you keep forgetting to post, scheduling is worth more than any effect. Stories a month ahead and posts a year ahead is a lot of runway for a festive season.
  3. If you don't know which reel worked, look at what you already have before paying. Our guide to comparing reels in Edits shows how far the free insights get you.
  4. If your problem is that comments pile up and nobody gets a reply, no tier on this list fixes that. Spending more won't change it either.
  5. If you have never applied for verification, remember that the badge and impersonation protection are the only two things waiting on it.

Two more things are worth knowing before you decide. Edits Plus is on its way to Meta One, with more cloud storage to sync projects across devices and extra usage of an upcoming assistant for insights and ideas, but it isn't here yet. And if you already subscribe to Meta Verified, nothing changes for you right now.

Before paying for anything, we'd tidy the free parts first. Our post on optimising your profile covers the name field, the bio and the pinned posts, and those cost nothing.

Buy the smallest tier that removes a chore you do every single week.
How much do Meta One creator plans cost?

There are four tiers: Essential at $14.99 a month, Advanced at $49.99 a month, Expert at $149 a month and Max at $499 a month. Pricing may vary by region, by app and by account.

Do I need to be verified to use a Meta One creator plan?

No. Verification is not required to use the professional tools. Only the verified badge and impersonation protection depend on being verified.

Does one Meta One plan cover Instagram and Facebook?

No. Plans are priced per profile, so each plan covers one account. If you create on both Instagram and Facebook, you would pick a plan for each.

How many links can I add to posts and reels?

The Advanced plan lets you add links to 4 posts and 4 reels per month. Expert and Max include the highest levels of feature access for links in posts and reels.

Are Meta One creator plans available in India?

Meta One plans are available globally and the creator plans are rolling out gradually worldwide. Plans, benefits, pricing and availability may vary by region, by app and by account, so start the subscription process from your own account to see what applies to you.

A plan earns its money when it removes something you do every week, not when it reads well on a pricing page. Work out your weekly chore first, then buy the smallest tier that takes it off your hands.

The one chore no tier here covers is answering every comment by hand. When someone comments on your post, Instoly can send them the link in a DM, and only people who commented ever get one.

The takeaway

Four tiers, from a link page to team access. Start the subscription process to see your own price and features.
